COO Jordan Morris
Jordan Morris is the COO of God Does Blessings. Jordan was born alongside his twin sister on September 14, 1998 to parents Amelia Tolbert and Joe Morris and sibling in Philadelphia, PA. Jordan's parents derive from Liberia, West Africa. Jordan has 8 siblings, but only grew up with one. Jordan was raised in the Baptist church due to the strong foundation of faith instilled by his mother and extended family. Jordan’s mother relocated three times (St Paul, MN, Leesburg, VA, South Bend, IN). Jordan was blessed to experience public and private schooling. Jordan attended Marian HS for three years and transferred to McCallie School in Chattanooga, TN for his senior year in 2018. Following high school Jordan attended Huntington University, in Huntington, Indiana. There he earned his Bachelors degree in Economics/Finance and Business Management with minors in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
In 2020 Jordan founded Futty Central a soccer digital media startup alongside a few of his teammates. The platform was created to break the barriers of media coverage for everyone in the North American Soccer community. Futty Central was predominately marketed via Instagram and organically grew to 5000 followers in 1-2 years. Jordan built a firm network of M/F soccer players ranging from youth to professional. Unfortunately Futty Central was hacked, leading Jordan to pursue an internship with For Soccer Ventures property Black Star Soccer. This internship has exposed Jordan to networking, traveling the country, and hands on learning.
Faith is important to Jordan because he is a lover. The foundation of God’s love is universal, and people often forget that. Jordan has dealt with burden, although his faith did not lead him astray. During college Jordan found a passion for worship music and fellowship. He created a worship group named “Pleasant Noise” with his peers. As a senior he was released from his college soccer team and suspended from other campus affiliations. During that dark time Jordan found peace with God and rededicated his life. As Jordan read scripture he found the verse Nehemiah 8:10, “For the joy of the Lord is your strength.” This scripture helps Jordan maintain a positive mindset when challenging times may seem overbearing.
Jordan has 18+ years of experience playing organized soccer and 6 years working within the soccer space. He dreamed of playing professionally, but it did not pan out. One day Jordan hopes to make an impact in his local soccer community. Jordan enjoys the game, but recognizes it is more than having a ball at your feet. Soccer is about life, and how people can mutually offer value on and off the pitch.
